• Account Information: Email address, name, and other details you provide when creating an account. • Health & App Data (User-Generated Content): Stool photos, food logs, symptom tracking, hydration, lifestyle notes, and other health-related information you choose to enter. • Photos: If you choose to upload stool or food photos for analysis, we process these images to provide personalized insights. • Device & Usage Data: Device type, operating system, app version, and general usage statistics. • Communications Data: If you join our mailing list, we may collect your email to send updates, surveys, or announcements.
How We Use Information
We use your information to: • Provide personalized insights and your daily Gut Health Score. • Track trends over time to help you understand your digestion. • Improve the functionality, performance, and security of the App. • Communicate with you about updates, features, or support. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or health information with advertisers.
Photos and Sensitive Information
• Photos you upload are used only for AI-powered stool analysis and related insights. • Photos are stored securely and are never shared with advertisers. You may log manually if you prefer not to upload images. • Optional sensitive data (such as gender identity) is used solely to personalize insights and improve relevance.
Data Security and Third-Party Services
We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and secure storage, to protect your data. We rely on trusted third parties to operate the App, including: • Supabase (authentication, database, storage) • n8n (workflow automation to process inputs and generate insights) These providers act on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect your data.
Data Retention and Your Rights
We retain your account, health data, and uploaded photos only as long as necessary to provide the App. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data, including photos, at any time by contacting hello@getregular.com. Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other laws, including the right to: • Access, correct, or delete your data. • Withdraw consent to processing. • Request a copy of your stored information.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it promptly.
International Transfers and Policy Updates
If you are located outside the United States, your information may be transferred and stored in the U.S. By using the App, you consent to this transfer. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the App and on our website with an updated effective date.
